Long Time No See

Yep, it's me again. We didn't swim for a long time, a few reasons but you might not be interested. I was in Redmond, WA (almost for a week) and then... a lot of work, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I hope to catch up with 5-6 pool visits per 2 weeks.

Ok, let's back to the topic. 6:30 PM, Friday evening. Temperature is pretty chilling outside, I think it's about 70-75 F outside. Water is 81 F. After almost a week and a half of skipped swimming water seems to be like a sirup to dive into.. Anyway, I can be proud of myself - a regular program is completed:

25 meters warm up
10 x 50 meters swim on approximately 2 minute interval
5 x 50 kicking
2 x 100 meters swim on the 4 minute interval
2 x 150 meters (to catch up to 500 :-)
3 x 25 meters backstroke swim (in between)

So, total for today is more then 90 minutes and 1350 meters.

See you next week.

5 x 50 kicking
2 x 100 meters swim on the 4 minute interval
2 x 150 meters (to catch up to 500 :-)
3 x 25 meters backstroke swim (in between)

So, total for today is almost 85 minutes and 1350 meters.

See you next week.

Temporary pool change - Rinconada @ Palo Alto

Today we swemt at Rinconada pool Palo Alto (Eagle pool is closed this week). The only difference that Rinconada is 25 yards (not meters) which gaves me about 4 meters less to swim for regular 50 and about 9 meters economy on 100s.

Our regular program took about 1 hour and 20 minutes and was as follows:

- 10 x 50 yards on approx 2 minutes interval
- 10 x 25 kicking (it was hard as usual :-)
- 5 x 100 and
- 2 x 25 backstroke/underwater drills

Total 1300 yards which yields approximately 1200 meters.

That's it for today, see you on Friday.

Eagle pool @ Saturday morning

10 am at the Saturday morning was a pretty chilling moment to jump into water.

As to the program - as usual - 1300 Meters of swimming per about 1 hour and 30 minutes. 10 x 50 freestyle, 10 x 25 kicking and 5 x 100 freestyle. Plus, a small addition of 25 meters of backstroke and 25 meters of some interesting drills :-)

So, that's it for today.
